and so is Mary Beth. It's been a long and rough day at the hospital. Finding the balance of medication to match Bruce's pain took a long time. He is now heavily sedated, sleeping soundly, and under watchful eyes of a tag-team of friends throughout tonight while Mary Beth rests at home with her mom and sister.
Keep praying in any way the Lord leads you.

Bruce and Mary Beth,
Praying through Psalm 23 again for you; praying your faith and hope in The Great Shepherd of the sheep will be strengthened; and that your love and knowledge of and fellowship with The Good Shepherd will be deepened.
I was struck by verse 2 today: He makes me lie down (He lets me rest). He has done that, hasn't He? I pray and believe He will continue to lead you by quiet and peaceful streams of living water.
