Bruce at Good Samaritan Hospital

Bruce was admitted to Good Sam in Corvallis this morning because they are not sure what is going on with his pain. He is sleeping comfortably and Mary Beth is resting right there next to him. They took a CAT Scan this morning, and they have not yet compared that with the CAT scan they took on Monday in Portland.

Please continue to pray for wisdom for and coordination between the doctors and for good pain management.

Thanks! We'll keep you posted.

Please let us know how we can help-I'd be happy to spend the night with the kids be a taxi or get Molly and Charlie together for a Romp.
Our prayers are continuous for all of you.

As soon as I read your blog these verses came to mind...
"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." Psalm 23
Though the struggle is deep, the goodness and love of the Lord are forever. How the two can coexist is a mystery...but none-the-less true.
loving you and praying,

Remember the Del Toro family whom you met at Mt. Hermon last summer. Lucas was hanging with Spencer. Please know that our home is welcome too you. Not sure what you were thinking of in terms of in California but we are about 25 miles east of LA. Our prayers are constant..

I pray that Bruce sleeps good tonight. A verse from an old hymn, Lord of All Hopefulness:

Lord of all gentleness, Lord of all calm,
whose voice is contentment, whose presence is balm,
be there at our sleeping, and give us, we pray.
your peace in our hearts, Lord, at the end of the day

Love,

Rosemary
