Good & Faithful Servant...

Hello dear friends. This morning at about 6:20, Bruce passed on to truly a better life with Christ. He was VERY peaceful when he left us. Some family was with him. Mary Beth has tremendous peace. The whole family (including Charlie the dog!) had a very precious and special time with Bruce last night.

There are so many God-things to share; His timing is absolutely perfect. Lives have been deeply touched, including the nurses who worked with Bruce. Praises and thanksgiving are lifted up to the One, true God of Love.

The 'A' team has need for family time; they send their love to all. Thank you for caring deeply.

Melinda

We stand in awe of the "A" family for such great strengths. You are still united and one in heart, prayer, and belief. Bruce continues to be a great leader on this journey into beyond with his pride, dignity and courage. We are blessed to have been included in his life here even if such a brief time.

Still here if there's anything you need.

Grieving...so sad.

Yet, rejoicing! No more pain, home with Jesus, peace, eternal life!

So much to praise God for! He alone gets all the glory for a well-lived life, and how He has brought you all through this trial and struggle with such a terrible disease.

The Lord will continue to carry you, Mary Beth and kids, with all grace, comfort, and peace - that He alone can provide. You've been experiencing it - you can continue to trust!

What beautiful memories you made together in the last year or so. I have enjoyed going through all the pictures on the blog again, when I could really see them through tear-filled eyes! Again, sad, yet joyful for Bruce - no more pain or suffering - in the arms of his Lord and Savior. How blessed Bruce is right now!

We are also praying for you Mary Beth, Spencer, Mikaela, Isaac, and Pearce. We love you.

Mary Beth, Spencer, Mikaela, Isaac, & Pearce, You know more than I ... but a wonderful man left us today to be with Jesus. So many times I wish we knew the "why's" when people we love are taken from us early. The pain of loss is cutting, deep and very real. Time and God will heal. I am honored to have had Bruce in my life. I especially thank you for the time we were able to spend with you all at Bob and Kelly's last month. You all were so generous to share that time with us. Bruce I miss you. Thank you for teaching us about life, and about death. Thank you for running the race of endurance and honoring Jesus every step of the way.

Weeping with sadness at our loss yet elated with joy at the thought of the celebration in heaven as Bruce enters its gates. We feel so fortunate to have known such a great and Godly man even if for such a short while. Thank you for sharing him with us. Let us know if we can be of any service to you and your family. When I think of Bruce and his gentle, gracious, joyful spirit, good sense of humor, it makes me smile. OK, right now, I am smiling through tears, but a huge smile, as I know where he is and in mighty fine company. The energy that came from MB and Bruce together was so amazing and still is. The Spirit just does not go away. It will forever keep touching our lives. It was time for Bruce to Fly, the only Superman in Heaven. MB, you and the kids walked with Bruce, along a path, through many experiences, painful and joyful, up to the beautiful garden gate. I imagine him, beautiful, strong man, cape fluttering behind him, ready for take-off. And we watch in joy and sadness, as he gave a wave, "UP, UP, and Away" and in a peaceful moment, flew to the next life. I was so honored to know him, and experience his life. What a lucky family to have lived with him everyday. My love to you today and everyday hereafter, as your journey continues. love, suzanne
